PayTo is a new, fast, and secure way to make payments directly from your Australian bank account. Once you set up and approve a PayTo Agreement with us, you can pay instantly without accessing your banking app/ internet banking or entering our bank details and description every time.

A PayTo Agreement is an authorisation you approve in your banking app or internet banking that allows us to debit payments from your account securely, once you authorise the agreement.

You can view, manage, pause, amend, or cancel your PayTo Agreement anytime in your bank’s app.

Each customer can have a maximum of two PayTo Agreements with Hai Ha Money Transfer at a time (pending or active). If you already have two, you’ll need to cancel one before creating a new one.

PayTo supports most personal Australian bank accounts and PayIDs (mobile or email). However, some bank accounts are not yet supported by PayTo. If your account isn’t supported, you’ll need to use a different bank account or PayID.

You can’t create another agreement for a bank account that already has an existing pending or active PayTo Agreement.

1. Select PayTo as your payment method.
2. Enter your BSB and Account Number, or PayID (email or mobile).
3. Choose your limit per transaction - this is the maximum amount you authorise for payments.
4. Review and confirm your details.
5. Open your banking app or internet banking to approve the PayTo Agreement.
   
   

You’ll have 5 minutes to accept the agreement once created. If you don’t authorise it in time, you can still approve it later — agreements remain valid for 5 days from creation.

After setup:

1. Open your banking app or internet banking.
2. Look for the pending PayTo Agreement from Hai Ha Money Transfer, Remox or FEFX.
3. Accept or Authorise it within 5 days.
   
   

If you don’t accept it in time, the agreement will expire automatically and you’ll need to create a new one.

Once your PayTo Agreement is accepted  by youyou can:

• Make payments instantly and securely.
• Skip re-entering bank details each time.
• Manage your agreement anytime in your banking app.

Please ensure your bank account has sufficient funds before making a payment.

How do I amend or update my PayTo Agreement?

You can update your limit or details by selecting Amend in your banking app. You can make up to 5 amendment attempts per 24 hours.

Once you submit changes, open your banking app to accept/approve them.

What if my PayTo Agreement is declined?

If you decline or fail to authorise your agreement:

• You won’t be able to proceed with your transaction using PayTo.
• You can retry, but there’s a maximum of 3 attempts per day. If you reach this limit, PayTo will be blocked for 24 hours.

There are a few possible reasons:

• Insufficient funds: Make sure your account has enough money and try again.
• Temporary bank issue: Contact your bank to resolve and retry later.
• Permanent bank issue: Use a different bank account or payment method.
• Other issue: Contact us for assistance before trying again.
  

If you reach 3 failed payment attempts in one day, you won’t be able to use PayTo for 24 hours.

For your security, if you’re sending money to a new receiver, you’ll receive a One-Time Password (OTP) to verify your identity.

• You have 3 attempts per OTP code.
• You can resend the OTP up to 3 times in 24 hours.

If the OTP you entered is incorrect or expired, you’ll need to:

• Request a new OTP, or
• Contact us if the issue continues.
  

You cannot proceed with PayTo until a valid OTP is entered.

If you don’t authorise your PayTo Agreement within 5 days, it will automatically expire. You’ll receive an email and SMS reminder before expiry.

To use PayTo, simply create a new agreement and authorise it within your banking app.

You can view, pause, amend, or cancel your PayTo Agreement anytime in your banking app.

• Active → You can Pause, Amend, or Cancel.
• Paused → You can Resume or Cancel.

• Only personal bank accounts under your name can be used for PayTo.
• We may cancel a PayTo Agreement if the bank account name does not match your registered name.
• Always make sure you have enough funds in your bank account before payment.
